Mark has been involved in promoting and building the field of developmental evaluation in Canada and beyond, which includes evaluating social innovation labs. He has evaluated many lab initiatives (e.g., Energy Futures Lab, WISIR Lab project, Rapid Circular Economy Innovation Lab, BC Family Justice Innovation Lab, several labs with Skills Society) and developed some resources on the topic (e.g., Evaluating Social Innovation Prototypes).
