Pieter de Vos
Pieter is the principal consultant for Pieter de Vos Consulting and holds an Adjunct Position at the School of Public Health (University of Alberta). Pieter also teaches a graduate course on the theory and practice of facilitation as part of the Master in Community Engagement Program.
Pieter’s consulting work blends methods from community-based research, social innovation, evaluation, and documentary photography. Over the past 20 years, he has facilitated over 500 projects ranging from high-level strategy sessions; to leading public participation processes on topics such as the opioid epidemic, suicide prevention, affordable housing and homelessness; to facilitating human-centred design labs to prototype social innovations.
